The app

The app stores language, city, checklist ticks and, if any, your unlock code only in your browser storage and keeps an offline copy. This data never leaves your device. No account, no advertising or analytics cookies, no tracking. Legal basis for device storage: § 165 (3) Austrian Telecommunications Act 2021 (strictly necessary).

Website and hosting

The website is hosted by Netlify, Inc., 512 2nd Street, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA. The host processes technically necessary data (IP address, time, browser) to deliver the site securely; legal basis Art 6(1)(f) GDPR; transfer to the USA based on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses. Fonts are served from our own server.

Purchases

Purchases on epttana.eu are handled by Stripe as merchant of record and independent controller. To issue your unlock we only ask Stripe whether the payment is complete; we store no payment data. Purchases via Amazon, Apple, Google, Kobo or Tolino are subject to their privacy policies.
